The Saugeen River
The Saugeen River is located in Southern Ontario. It starts in the Osprey Wetland Conservation Land and runs North-West into Lake Huron. The Saugeen River is a wonderful river for spring paddling. This trip is great for paddlers of all levels however there are some spots that offer more of a challenge than the Nottawasaga. This trip sets out from Walkerton and heads towards Paisley. It is likely to see great heron, painted turtles, king fisher and muskrats on this paddle. The Saugeen trip is $100 and last four to five hours.
