Team-Building Tours are an increasingly popular way for companies and organizations to promote teamwork, improve communication skills, and boost morale. It's no secret that a strong and cohesive team is essential to the success of any business or organization, and team-building tours are an excellent way to develop and strengthen these bonds.
Canoeing tours are a great way to experience the beauty of nature with your team. Our experienced guides will lead you through calm lakes and rivers, while pointing out local wildlife and sharing stories about the area. This fun and challenging activity requires teamwork and communication to navigate the water. Working together to steer the canoe and paddle in sync is a great way to build trust and establish a sense of unity among team members.
For those who prefer hiking, we have the luxury of being situated along the beautiful Bruce Trail. Whether you're a novice hiker or an experienced outdoorsman, our guides can tailor the hike to your group's skill level and interests. You'll have the opportunity to see stunning vistas, spot wildlife, and connect with your team in a natural setting.
Regardless of skill levels or tight schedules - Samsara Wilderness truly believes in the power of the backcountry to inspire, strengthen, and rejuvenate.
Let us get you into the wild to prove it!
Algonquin
Start your adventure in Canada’s oldest provincial park. Founded in 1893, Algonquin Park has a long and important history intertwined with canoeing; industry; environmental protection; and ultimately, our culture as Canadians. It’s complex natural and social history serve as the perfect starting point for any journey.
The unique location of the park allows us to observe 5 major habitat types that support a diversity of plants and animals life. Along with the stunning flora and fauna of the daytime in the backcountry of Algonquin comes the breathtaking silence and clear, starry skies of the night time. Create memories and skills that will continue to strengthen you for a life-time.
French River
Stretching for 105 kilometres from Lake Nipissing all the way to Georgian Bay, the French River offers some of the most breathtaking paddling opportunities in all of Ontario, arguably even Canada. With very few portages, this route is perfect for paddlers who want a longer, more relaxing trip while still taking in the rugged hills and thick forests of the Canadian Shield.
As one of the last known populations of the Massasauga Rattlesnake, the French River provides the rare and thrilling opportunity to see one of these creatures in person. Since it served as an important hunting and trading route for Indigenous communities and European colonizers, the French River retains centuries of important social, cultural, and natural history. Take your first-step into the wild and we’ll take care of the rest.
